Federal Student Aid for Summer
Federal Pell Grant
If you have already received full-time Pell for two semesters (or the equivalent) in 2007-2008, you do not have any Pell eligibility remaining for Summer 2008.
Pell Grants are available for both summer sessions.
FSEOG and LEAP Grants
If eligible, you will be considered for other Federal Grants (FSEOG or LEAP) for Summer I only.
Funding for FSEOG and LEAP grants are very limited.
Students are considered on a first-come first-served basis.
FSEOG and LEAP Grants are not available for Summer II.
Federal Stafford Loans
If you have not been awarded your yearly aggregate ($2625 for Freshman or $3500 for Sophomores) you may have loan eligibility for the summer sessions.
You must be enrolled and attend at least six hours to be eligible for student loans.
Must have a loan entrance interview session completed or complete a session on line.
Loan funds cannot be disbursed until six (6) hours of study has begun.
Loans are available for both summer sessions.
Federal Work-Study
If you are interested in Summer Federal Work-Study, please contact Financial Aid Services for additional information.
